About Me

I’ve been making games for my entire life. I started when I was eight years old, roughly, and since then I’ve never been able to get enough. For a while, it was just aggressive prototyping, where I would just make tons of game prototypes and didn’t really follow through with them. There were a few which I particularly liked, though most of them I don’t remember the names of now. At a certain point, I stopped making games (in high school) because I didn’t really have time or the drive to do it like I did in years prior. When I got to college, I decided to re-pursue this passion and I became a computer science major so that I could fill in the gap that I’ve always had in making games- that of actually coding them, which is why I made board games for a while. However, I realized after a year of computer science, that it wasn’t as specialized as I wanted it to be. Thus, I decided to pivot and become a game design major at Biola, which (unsurprisingly) was exactly what I wanted to focus on. I’ve learned a ton in Unreal Engine since then and I’ve been enjoying my time in college SO much. One of the biggest passions in my life is making games, and I’m so glad it’s something you can actually do as your career now.
